Four Firearm Safety Rules

The classic Four General Firearms Safety Rules. While the wording is sometimes debated, these four basic rules are agreed upon in principle by firearms instructors everywhere. Students should come to all CFTT firearms classes prepared for a detailed discussion of firearms safety, the “Four Rules” and their proper application, and some clarification we call “Safety Principles for Thinking People.”

PLEASE NOTE: For Alaska Concealed Handgun Permit applicants, the written test requires verbatim knowledge of the Four General Firearms Safety Rules.

Holsters and Mag Pouches

Joshua and Walker battle campfire smoke, raucous ravens, and Alaskan rain while giving a basic overview of some of their preferred holster options for different applications, as well as some less-helpful alternatives you should avoid… especially those prone to spontaneous combustion.

Intro to MIVCAT

Meet Guest Instructor Mike, who will be teaching the medical portion of our Medical Interventions and Vehicle Counter Ambush Tactics. And check out what kind of IFAK each class participant will receive.
